Yidio Video of the Day: Watch Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski's Red Sox vs. Yankees Trash Talk

Yidio Video of the Day: Watch Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski's Red Sox vs. Yankees Trash Talk Nike has had some great commercials in the past, but New Era really knows how to engage baseball fans: get "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin and "The Office" star John Krasinski to trash-talk each other about the Red Sox vs. the Yankees.

The new commercial has Krasinski, a Red Sox fan, calling Baldwin, a die-hard Yankees fan, at a fancy party. The ensuing conversation is filled with clever quips and funny moments.

Baldwin dismisses the feud as a rivalry, noting that "America doesn't have a rivalry with Costa Rica," and Krasinski shoots back with the observation that being a Yankees fan is "like being a huge fan of fascism."

It all ends with Krasinski taking things a little too far, and a wonderfully awkward wrap-up. Seriously, how have these guys not done more work together? If "It's Complicated" was anything like this, then I probably should have gone and seen it. My guess is that it wasn't, though.

As of now, the rivalry is a bit of a toss-up, as the best rivalries are: the Sox sit at an awful 2-7 record, but those two wins came against the Yankees in their three-game series. Meanwhile, the Orioles are currently winning the division.
